The family history as we know it begins with Andrew Tennent and Agnes Arbuckle who were married in the Lanarkshire parish of Barony in 1782. However these pictures are all the descendants, and their families of Andrew & Agnes's grandson James and his wife Janet Simpson who married in Rutherglen on 31st December 1845.
